Rules can be very freeing in art. They focus your mind. They eliminate distractions. They get you to narrow down on what's really important...and get things DONE.

Having a definite goal in mind can be good for creating something, but sometimes it can be good to free form, and let natural inspiration take its course, that's what I do.
