I am not sure why I keep coming back to this picture, I'll live with it for a while and figure it out, possibly not.

You keep coming back to it because there needs to be someone (lady in a white dress) behind the tree. Next time, remember that. A future project maybe.

sounds like a photo you may take but I am not sure I would, maybe if she was already there then yes, but to put someone there, not so sure.

It works because of the balance in the image and the light area and it's shape matching the line of the tree. No it doesn't need a figure in a white dress either !
