Good to be back. Something in this picture fascinates me and yet I know it is high contrast and just a touch perculiar.

1. At the moment, no comment. I've been sitting for 5 minutes just looking at this image and I need more time. Something also fascinates me, but what? My eyes keep going to the top left and settling on the branches there. I'm wondering what is over the other side of the hedge. Good depth of field. I'll get back to you when I've thought more about it.

2. I like the layers here, from the shrubs at the bottom, then the light area in the middle and then the dark at the top. BTW, the leaves on the left look like they might be from a Camelia tree.
