WOW! I wish we had something simular in the UK. You guys have Australia Day, the US has Independance Day... we dont have anything as such in the UK :(

It looks like a good day and night was enjoyed by all there. There was a good Australia day celebration in the Australia themed bar in my local town here in the UK.

Some great shots....the celebratory mood definitely comes through!! Don't know if this is old news or not but there is a photojournal/book entitled "The Australia Day Project" which is comprised of different shots from various people who entered a competition.
